You might think that Renewing your real estate license in Ohio is complicated and time-consuming. Well, if you don’t know the correct process and the things that you need to prepare, then it will be as complex as what you’re thinking.

We don’t want you to be in trouble, that’s why we highlighted 5 essential things that you need to consider before renewing your real estate license.

Let’s check it out…

  1. Renewing Online is much convenient and faster than sending it in the mail. I believe we can all agree to this. Who wouldn’t want to renew their license at the comfort of their home? Just a simple reminder, though, you can only apply for renewal within 60 days before your due date. Not earlier and definitely not later.
  1. Active Licensee must complete a total of 30 hours of Continuing Education. You read it right, it’s 30 hours and not 36 hours, as many are confused about. And you need to accomplish it every three years due on or before your birthday.
  1. Active Licensee has to attend 12 hours of mandatory courses. You might probably read articles about attending 3 three-hour courses for your CE requirement (Civil rights, Core Law, and Ohio Canons of Ethics). But upon carefully reading the compliance form on the Ohio Department of Commerce website, you’ll find out that apart from the 3 courses mentioned, Ohio also requires broker and management level licensees to attend a three-hour course in Broker Responsibility. So, that makes it 12. The remaining hours can be used in taking elective courses.
  1. There is a broker renewal fee of $243. Convenience always comes with a price. But if you carefully maximize your license, $243 will just be a small cut in your bank.
  1. Get Me Renewed can help you with a hassle-free experience in accomplishing your CE requirements. By saying hassle-free, we also mean convenient.

That’s right, compared to other institutions, our rate is much cheaper. For only $67.87, you can already complete your 30-hour CE requirement (including the required courses.). Otherwise, you can customize it here. Too good to be true? Well, we are Ohio Division Of Real Estate approved and also listed on the Division of Real Estate & Professional Licensing’s e-licensing website. Therefore, integrity is something that we can offer. Check out our approval letter or look us up here.
